Questions We Can Help Answer

Colleges, Tech Schools: What options are out there? Courses of study? What is in the area?
Applications, testing, transcripts: How do I start? Help me organize!
Financial aid, scholarships, Hope, FAFSA: What is this? How do I apply? How can I find info?
Military, career options: Who do I talk to? Where do I find info?
Resumes, interviews: How do I prepare? Where do I even start?

Caroline Truax and Julie Herrera are the new College and Career Center aides.  These ladies are parents who have been through and/or are going through the process of developing action plans for their own children after graduating high school. It is an exciting, yet frightening time and there are A LOT of options!  They will help guide students toward accomplishing their goals after graduation and help them find the best ways to get there. We welcome Ms. Truax and Ms. Herrera to the Knights Family!

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: Although we are not in the building now, we still “open” virtually. We update this website and our social media resources regularly. We will respond promptly to your email.

The Center is located in the Counseling offices – first door on the left as you enter.

Center hours of operation are:
MWF: 7:30 am – 3:30pm
TR: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Students can come in during open hours, particularly their lunch periods, to ask questions or work on their applications, resumes, testing practice questions, etc. The Center will be hosting College Visits in the fall and hopes to provide workshops on various topics of interest in the near future.
